I start dreaming the moment I fall asleep, I know this because I used to wake up every few minutes and fall back asleep do to sleep apnea and the dream would start right back up again like a paused video. Epic, movie like dreams where I'm lost in a city being overrun by zombies, barricading in a mall, raiding gun stores, getting shot by soldiers trying to escape, super vivid and I could control it like a lucid dream. Flying dreams are also very common, again I can control it, usually hovering like Superman and showing off. I no longer have apnea but the only thing I've noticed recently is that I wake up after four hours of sleep and can't fall asleep again. I try, and every ten minutes like clockwork I get a surge of adrenaline that snaps me awake, like a pulse of energy hitting my brain at intervals, like flipping a switch. The sleep deprivation is starting to get to me.
