In 1753 a bill was proposed to emancipate the Jews for their "loyalty" during the Jacobite rebellions, but was withdrawn after mass public protest.
It wasn't until 1858 that they were given any rights, admist a time of liberalisation in respects to religion. Things fell apart quickly from there.
In 1871 (((Disraeli))) came to power promising to fix the economy after an economic crash, downplaying his Jewish heritage and saying that he was Christian to gain greater support.
He then proceeded to take massive loans from the Rothschilds, rather than from the Bank of England or from local English banks despite protest from parliament. He also weakened local banks centralising the supply of money significantly.
As a side note, he gave an insulting speech about the Irish whilst boasting about his Jewish heritage, but his insults also applied to the English just as much as the Irish. I really hate this fucker.
