I'm about to be married and we're already living together (briefly in sin, I know, the virus delayed our wedding a lot), and I have to say, all the gf memes aside, living together is great. Splitting costs is so easy, and food is so much more affordable - it's actually a bit crazy. Not only that but she's good with money and cooks well, so food is no longer an issue. I don't drink, and smoke from time to time (genuinely rarely because it's expensive) but other than that I have the cheapest hobby there is, which is just electronics (arduinos etc). I'm not in debt (student debt doesn't count because I won't pay a penny of it, fuck the UK), and I still have almost nothing to save.
