>>9238565It certainly say that is true, but it is due to thermoses being used for a very long time and the silicon or rubber part that seals the bottle get worn, and it is not common to replace these parts due to the long life of the thermos. Pic related is current system, i use it mainly for hiking and fishing type things, so it gets some heavy use. Havent experienced alot of leaking after a few years, but id be lying if it say it didnt ever, it is tiny amounts though and is usually liquid trapped between the cap and the outside due to the lid taking som much space in the bottle, therby reducing the capacity.
