Rings or wheels with wings were also used by the Persians, the original Aryans, or Eranians/Iranians, as part of their religion known as Zoroaster which worships elements like fire, before Iran was Muslim that's what it was. Winged things are also used by rosacrucians, I just haven't seen it connected with wheels in their religion, but there is a LOT of overlap between the Masons and rosas, they are basically the same thing.
