my favorite way to illustrate how reality is a projection (the neoplatonists, some gnostics and kabbalists would agree) is this thought experiment:

the problem is, it's really hard for our brains to conceive of higher dimensional geometries and how they interact with our 3d world. psychedelics and reading old mystical books help. i also think sacred geometry especially as expressed in temples and cathedrals is a good illustration of hyperdimensional physics, you can sense intuitively what they were getting at
