Now to my main point. The Aryans were, at the time when they lived in the Arctic, the only civilized humans on planet earth. There were humans in all around the globe of course, but they did not have societies. They were, what we call "Hunter-gatherers". They are called, in the vedas, "Purusha". This meant the "primordial man". In the Vedic myths, Purusha is sacrificed, and out of his body is made the four different societal classes. What distinguished the Aryan society was the three-fold societal classes: Producers, Warriors and Priests.
But the Aryans were forced to leave the Arctic, because it began to be covered in Ice. Thus the Aryans set out across the earth, not to conquer other societies, because there were no other societies! There were only barbarians, hunter-gatherers, "purushas", primeval men with no religion or culture to speak of. I will quote from wikipedia (Note that the modern term for Aryans is Proto-Indo-Europeans):
"By the early second millennium BC, offshoots of the Proto-Indo-Europeans had reached far and wide across Eurasia, including Anatolia (Hittites), the Aegean (the ancestors of Mycenaean Greece), the north of Europe (Corded Ware culture), the edges of Central Asia (Yamna culture), and southern Siberia (Afanasevo culture).[1]"
Interesting to note, is that in the Rig Veda, many references are made to wars between the Aryan race and the Dasyu, who are referred to as "swarthy riteless men". As the Aryans left the Arctic, they encountered these Dasyu who inhabited most of the earth, not just the continent of Africa! But in fact most of Asia and Europe! Modern scientific findings supports this knowledge from the Vedas, look at this article:
