Demons are like golems in that they DO have corporeal forms but are really sturdy. They born of the desire to "reject" the material or hard.
e.g "I don't want to be hard" then you have something going "no no you can't do that" and laughs and you keep feeding it more and more until it takes shape as a vice then when you pass another human, animal or insect feeds it making it stronger. A very disgusting smell of sulfur follows them or people/things/places under their influence/harassment
