>>19309991>>19310021Hearing Sapphire talk that way about Sola is infuriating to Carmody. There is a moment, when Sola stands her ground and tells her off, that she feels elated again, ready to jump in and back Sola but feeling it's almost not needed, as she stands her ground to both the apparition of Sapphire and all of these issues that have plagued her coming from the Divine Angels. But when Sapphire goes from telling the woman she loves "You are a horrible person, perhaps the biggest monster in the entirety of Spaghetti Town!" after completely flipping the reality on a traumatic incident to her, to chirpily greeting her sister's fiancee, her anger overrides everything else.
>"SAPPHIRE. WHAT. THE FUCK.">"Are you actually retarded? Like, seriously, in the medical sense, not in the insulting one.">"Thinking Sola Fire is Steeli Yastuffi, telling her that she's the victimizer in a situation where she was actually the victim?">"Nah. Nobody is actually that legitimately fucking STUPID.">"Go ahead and drown me in the fucking toilet if you want, but I ain't taking this SHIT from you."Carmody grabs the cord sticking out of the speaker and pulls the plug, then switches it off for good measure. Then she turns to Priscilla.
>"And Priscilla?">"I know she's your deceased friend, and if it turns out this isn't something she's doing on purpose, and you DID actually take in some special needs girl and let her be your cheerleader, then I actually feel kinda bad.">"But no. This, right here? This is an absolute deal breaker.">"I'm sorry; I LIKE you. I actually do. But I'm not signing anything that has me turning up to deal with THIS, directed at me or someone I love."Carmody gathers up her clothes.
>"I apologize. I think I'd best clock out early."She looks at Amy Flame, apologetically.
>"Sorry. I know you said you couldn't take any yelling. But I wasn't gonna take any more of that shit from HER."She gestures in the direction of the speaker.
