Sure, but pot is different, it's not something that is very much alive and has feelings. A relationship should be something which involves two people sharing their lives with eachother, good and bad. And that comes with a lot of responsibility and some sacrifice too, but if you geniunely love your wife then it won't feel like a sacrifice. I think you can see eye to eye with me on this, at least more or less, after all you once told me you liked the idea of having a family one day. Children, at least.
In a way I think I'm lucky that I don't find sex all that appealing, it means that if I can't find the one I would like to share my life with I can just go on all alone.

I blame the media, everywhere you look, movies, games, ads, you see perfect people with perfect looks and voices and behaviours. This creates the illusion of these people being the average and the norm, when in fact they are a minority further enhanced by editing and makeup.
Do you know how the top fashion designers choose their models? They go for a person which has certain appealing deviations that are hard to immitate. Then they make it so that people believe that that is what an average man/woman looks like. This makes them buy cosmetics in order to look closer to that ideal, but in truth they will never get there because the difference is in genetics.
