The Liberia square ignores the fact that, even despite a majority of the black americans dying, they were doing quite well as an emerging market with Western investors out until the beginning of the Cold War, when unchecked immigration from the interior led to the overthrow of their government and civil war, dispersing the Americo-Liberian population.
The Haitian example ignores the heavy fines imposed by the French and the Americans at gunpoint, which tanked the government, and the lack of arable land (owing to the artificially-high population density (caused by the TAST)), which led to land mismanagement and the devolution of society.
Finally, Zimbabwe was heavily corrupt before the land expropriation began, and the PM's paranoia and crumbling popularity is exactly what caused it.
All of the examples there are dishonest. Don't trust memes you read on /pol/.
