Pic related. Star trails from the equator. How could they possibly look like this on a flat disc? Why is that the northern hemisphere can see the northern star, but the southern hemisphere cannot and must rely on the southern cross instead? Why is the height of the stars in the sky always proportionate to one's latitude?
All this can easily be explained by the Earth being a globe.
