Firmament can be anything and you don't need to review over 2000 years of human thinking to come up to something sane about it, e.g: The atmosphere, a specific layer of it, etc.
Point II: There is absolutely no point whatsoever for any of us to be looking for minute pieces of scripture in order to try and compreheend the intrinsic mechanics of reality itself; it might be fun, but it's not priority right now. Why not discuss how to better follow the teachings of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in our daily-lives? Are we "creating" in the name of God? Art, anyone? Or, how to better spread the Word while being constantly on the watch of The Glownigger?
Point III:
> King James BibleProtestant = Heresy. There is simply no possible theological explanation for the reformation. Entertaining these "muh Protestant" interpretations and points is a doomed Crusade, just like their heretical faith, and their identity.
