my favourite game of all time is thief 2 which, despite being old as fuck (it released in 2000), has the best gameplay of any stealth game out there on top of an amazing story
it's kind of annoying searching steam games under the "stealth" tag and getting bullshit that qualifies as "stealth" because they include some extremely basic stealth such as crouching = literally invisible
