And if it wasn't, why would one enter a position when a hole has such power over you in a first place? You are dealing with a living organism whose behavior inherently consists of infernal blend of solipsism and Machiavellian psychopathy, and whose sole evolutionary pressure was always about ability to pretend it's not like that. It is manageable, when you are in position of power. On equal grounds you already have major problems. But when IT is in position of power, I wouldn't wish that on an enemy. May as well buy a revolver and play some Russian roulette right away.
