The Catholic Church can be proven to be under the protection of the Holy Spirit by the fact that female ordination has not occurred and is strictly prohibited.
As the 1983 Catholic Code of Canon Law declares:

Those outside the one true church (such as Eastern "Orthodox", Oriental "Orthodox", and Protestants) allow for and have female ordination which is completely contrary to the Holy Bible and Sacred Tradition.
