I have developed mild tinnitus immediately after starting low daily dosage (20 mg) of Escilex. One year after I've discontinued the medication the tinnitus has promptly intensified as result of a so called "antidepressant discontinuation syndrome". One year has passed since I'm out of this med (I haven't or don't take any other) and the tinnitus is still very present in my hearing. I heavily depend on noise generators for relief during the day and 100% require them in order to fall asleep.
Fuck side effects. My hearing is fucked for life. Probably messed up with my auditory cortex.
