anyway there was this one streamer with about 150 viewers every stream, and people watched him not for his personality or anything but because he was competitively good at this one dead game
pretty fitting case for what we're talking about in general actually, cause he showed like zero emotion or care for any of the people in his chat other than having to reply to them cause they subscribe and stuff
and as u could guess those people kept acting like hes their hero and best friend
like i dont think ive observed anybody in them having a personality and not trying to appease to the dude as much as possible
anyway the majority isnt the focus although theyre far gone as well
there was just this one guy who was absolutely insane
we were convinced that he had to have his soul banished into doing this because there was no other way it could be that bad
the guy was on the streamers chat 24/7 to delete anything even remotely bad and constantly throw money, while getting no approval beyond his messages getting read and a brief reply in return, i doubt hes ever actually had a genuine conversation with the person streaming
pretty much every single day of his life consists of just sitting there watching the guy play and modding the stream, with next to zero reciprocation for it, and hes been doing this for years straight
he genuinely considers this person who couldnt give less of a shit if they were replaced one day as his best friend and the most important figure in their life, likely
like let alone when hes streaming
he sits and looks after the guys chat several hours after the stream turns off to keep deleting anything thats bad
and beyond twitch he even goes outside of it to false copyright strike any videos that show the guy in a negative light in youtube or whatever
and god knows what else lol
