>There is a Lain game?Yeah, though I've read it's not exactly a traditional game, much like the show wasn't very traditional. It's supposed to have a lot of extra lore for the show, I think. You don't have to worry to much about spoiling Saya, though. The guy who told me about it already did.
>Assuming you were more of an anime guy, which one stood out the most for you?I only watched it a couple years ago, but after rewatching it recently, I'd say 'Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō' is a great one. It's an OVA, though, not a show. Of course, if we're just talking about Japanese animation, Miyazaki's stuff is hard to top. I particularly liked his 'Lupin III' movie, which's another show I think is pretty great. However, my early experience with this stuff was thru manga, it was only later I started watching anime. There was a bookstore I could go to read it, even if that's poor form. Then, it was mostly shonen and things like that - 'Gintama' is one I really liked.
