>>10706093>>10706095those i actually owned already and they just happen to support VR, among some of the others. the sega shit does seem moderately cringe but i'm not against the idea of setting up a virtual space to play things on a screen. i got the OVR toolkit and virtual desktop specifically to explore that idea actually. there was a video that made a super convincing argument for doing that sort of thing but i'd have to look around a lot to find it
i'm particularly excited for subnautica, elite dangerous, pavlov, superhot, and alyx. subnautica and superhot are both games i liked a lot and i think would benefit greatly from VR in different ways from each other, elite dangerous is 90% about flying spaceships through pretty looking areas anyway, and pavlov/alyx seem like far and away the best single and multiplayer "game" experiences that the system has to offer at the moment.
yeah, the webms really get my goat every single time. aside from my usual affinity for shitty but novel porn games i'm quite excited to see if it's inherently that wacky or if it's just in the hands of comedic masterminds
