yeah i agree completely. it's sensible to be passionate about some particular topic that's close to your heart, but having such strong opinions about literally everything is fucking wild and so is caring what party someone's a part of overall.
honestly being on tinder again has really opened my eyes to the fact that these people are out here in real life as well. i thought it was some sort of weird byproduct of extremely online people who are willing to shit up twitter or reddit threads for hours a day, but there are honestly more bios that include a political statement than ones that don't, and maybe 1/10 profiles strictly say "don't try to match with me if you're a [snowflake/drumpf supporter]"
also a shocking amount of nonbinary/pansexual/polygamous people which i suppose usually goes hand in hand with this stuff of course
