Usually there's cutscenes and then the rest is text with maybe some voice acting but here you have the fully animated, fully voiced cutscenes which look great, there's a weird manga like type of cutscene where they have voice acting but they only animate the facial expressions of the characters on a shot by shot basis, then there's the normal text with voice that you normally use with npcs and then some purely text based interactions for the random sidequests.
Starts off kinda slow though but the characters, especially majima, are pretty great.
