It's sort of like how shiki from tsukihime has a homicidal impulse to destroy all non-humans like vampires and demons that he can barely control even around his loved ones. This shows how degenerating in that manner is not in the nature of the otaku, but because most otaku are just normal aryans and are not 19yo millionaire superhuman athletes they are more prone to corruption.
