What gives me hope is that the scripts for Lucas's version of Ep 7, 8 and 9 exist and are in his vaults. The scripts for all the unfinished seasons of Clone Wars that Disney cancelled also exist, as well as scripts and outlines for several seasons of Underworld. So even if Lucas dies, when Disney inevitably collapses one day in the future. We can do what Christopher Tolkien did with JRR's unfinished works, and finally fucking finish the production of Star Wars. Because as it is, it's an unfinished work. Star Wars is meant to be a trilogy of trilogies. 9 films all up, with 2 tv shows connecting ep 2 and 3, and 3 and 4 together to bridge them.
