If we discovered a new race hidden somewhere in the wilderness with skin as White as snow, they would not be 'White'.
It's for this reason that despite Aboriginals being darker than some Sub-saharan Africans, we don't call them 'Black', because 'Black' is just shorthand for 'Negro' or 'Sub-saharan African'. It's also why African albinos aren't 'White'. Race is not skin deep, it goes to and into the bone and everywhere else in-between.
