So, I’ve started to study Sam Hyde.
It appears he degrades himself to the vulnerabilities of his audience (lonely young men, porn addicts, etc) to resonate with them via forming a parasocial trauma-bond with his audience.
So, as a consequence, when people attack Sam Hyde, his audience perceives it as an attack on them personally too, especially given the likelihood of pre-existing insecurities that made them vulnerable to Sam Hyde’s tactics in the first place.
Then, Sam Hyde seeds his propaganda narratives to them while they’re alienated within the resulting dismissive defense mechanisms that operates like an echo chamber, because his audience no longer trusts the people outside of their trauma-bonded subculture.
These are cult tactics.
Sam Hyde is a cult leader.
Not sure if I’ll continue sharing my analyses and insights publicly. The game has begun.
