have you ever seen what parsley roots are like? i accidentally uprooted a parsley stalk and its root looked like a miniature white carrot. smelled like one too, when i scratched it with my nail but i didn't eat it.
come to think of it, carrot leaves look a lot like parsley. hmmm maybe carrots and parsley are the same person...
