at the end of the day my dad had similar symptoms once upon a time and they were all essentially solved by an acid reducer which the doc prescribed me until we get it figured out, so worst case we give up on figuring it out and i take that forever. only downsides of course would be paying for it every month and one recent study links acid reducers to higher risk of dementia
