If you open it wide and look at the Noon position, you'll see markings of when and where Germany settled. Towards the center is the alleged Hollow Earth, where Admiral Byrd's diary claims that as he came upon a verdant area, the control of his plane was taken over, landing him in an area where he was met by the Germans.
I believe that was in 1947.
