Whoa whoa hang on a moment I totally forgot about this movie I haven’t seen it in many years probably like 8 years.
The sunset is actually featured prominently in this movie though not in the game. Basically it becomes sunset during this huge battle the sun starts to go down and there is this giant cyclone with fire in the middle that spreads fire everywhere, there are Cerberus dogs and red lights from the enemies drop ships everywhere then the land bridge breaks between the two opposing side
Basically I haven’t alluded to this yet but the problem with the night is that you have fire worship, which basically symbolizes Satanic influences, the empire in the game niflheim are basically under control by Satanic forces
