>>4608219alright, i'm back, hopefully you're still here.
So, what
>>4608271>>4608302said it's true.
I should only add that because of those tweets by the members, people started digging through past appearences and interactions of the group members and tried to retroactively use them to "prove" hwayoung was being bullied. Now you know how kpop interactions work, there's always some banter between the members. And if you had an agenda, you could easily twist things into looking like bullying.
Anyway, that absolutely crushed T-ara's reputation in Korea. They went from a top 3 group (snsd/2ne1 tier, or twice/red velvet/gfriend tier to use a modern comparison) to a group that was middle tier. Their fans abandoned them, all their articles were swamped by negative comments, their sales numbers dropped, their live performances got less cheering, they stopped winning shows etc., etc.
The group got absolutely rekt and the girls were being harassed and insulted every time they showed their faces. Quite a sad situation for us fans, because you never like seeing your girls get shit on.
That scandal happened in late 2012. But for the next five years they kept releasing songs even though they never got the great reception they once did, they never gave up.
So in 2017, hwayoung took part in some show where they interviewed her and she gave out her standard sob story. This I guess made some stylists snap and they went to the media and gave the true story about Hwayoung. She was abusive to staff, she was aggressive, she was mean and by all accounts it was literally her who bullied the other members, instead of the other way around. The juiciest part was some text messages that got leaked, from hwayoung's sister to areum, t-ara's youngest member. Those were some real fucked up shit. I'll post them in a bit.
So when that happened, people finally wised up to Hwayoung's act, saw that she was a manipulative evil witch and realized they were wrong about t-ara. And that's that.
