who were warning of shit like this. they were posting tons of pre-print papers. like multiples every single day. it was like a huge group of scientists were panicking and had nowhere to go. they were shitposting but as doctorate tier anons. so much shit that is happening every day was posted here as early data from like march-july 2020.
i don't think anybody could have predicted that this shit was going to go on this long or maybe it would have been curated a little bit better. i think the most cynical person thought two weeks to flatten the curve meant like 6 months at worst.
