with quaternions you have an X, Y, Z, and scalar coordinate. This is how any video game you play in a 3D space takes the input from your controller and turn it into something meaninful. please tell me if any of this is confusing. i have no idea how to present this well to an audience but im doing my best to translate this out of turboautism into plain english.
