That meeting with Trump the day before his appointment as SC is so hard to read. Definitely the strongest point of evidence for the theory that he’s been flipped for Trump, but at the same time, it’s clear that the swamp rats don’t see themselves in any danger. If they did, they’d be mitigating damage by bringing that meeting up and calling the investigation tainted. They are taking a beating with the recent revelations, so why AREN’T they bringing it up?
