>>19359704This is gonna sound gay but the S1 cast felt more relatable and I felt kind of like a kinship with them. When I see clips of S2 it just feels wrong to me. It feels like a knockoff with shittier people. S1 IS fishtank. The S1 house IS and will ALWAYS be the fishtank house to me. Sam Hyde will always be Jason Goldstriker in the blue suit, not Judge Goldstriker. Josie and Vance grabbed my attention and still haven't let go even after 8 months. It's ironic that as much as I love them I hate S2 because they're there. They should be at home growing their respective audiences and channels. Not sleeping on double stacked mattresses on the floor of a dingy, shitty, freezing basement in fucking Rhode Island.
Watching S1 clips just feels right desu. It's kind of hard to convey through text exactly how I feel on the matter. Basically season 1 is Coca-Cola and season 2 is like Sam's Club Cola. Same basic principle but different, cheaper and nowhere near as good. S1 had "heart". S2 is just a cheap imitation.
But actually I don't really like to argue the merits of season 1 over season 2 and vice versa. If people like S2 better then terrific. I'm glad they do. Me? I'm season 1 all the way. I was glued to those people and they meant more to me than the season two cast ever will.
