>>11299616>how the insertion of certain elements act as neuron triggersYes, much of this music focuses on the effect of adding or subtracting layers of sounds at (more or less) fixed intervals while the constant beat and looping keeps you hypnotized (or 'in tune' one could say). A track that is predictable in this way (4x4, 4x16,4x64,...) makes it fairly easy to layer and mix with other such tracks, and that opens up a whole new world for djs, who can then freely combine two or more tracks to their liking to achieve a desired effect on the listeners or tell a certain story to them. The whole point of electronic music was the freedom that machines and later computers gave to musicians to invent new sounds or creatively reuse old ones, and djs then added yet another level of freedom in music by creatively combining those sounds even further. And the listeners, by responding differently to different music in real time, can have an active role to what music is being played, provided the dj is sensitive enough and willing to work with them and for them. In the end if everything goes right, a tangible feeling of connection and love can be felt and shared between all the participants and that's where the magic happens and that's what it's ultimately all about, love and happiness.
