I was trying to explain pre-2010’s internet to a 21-year-old the other day, and they just couldn’t wrap their head around the core concept of an absolutely unregulated platform with no normalfags, social media bullshit, only the most esoteric of memes, things which were memes before the concept was popularised, etc.
It’s sad how cowed, pathetic and nihilistic their generation is.
