>>11413882>This is not to discount asians thoughI feel the same. Though I've never met a Korean, I do know a few Japs and loads of Chinese people. Very rarely have I had negative interactions with Asians (from Asia). Spent a few weeks in China and it was all rosy, though I imagine my being a 6'3 white person helped a lot. China has incredibly horrible PR (for good reasons in many cases) but I've seen for myself that it's not a complete hellscape. Korea looks be doing very very well and Japan speaks for itself. My only major hangup (from a surface level cultural perspective) with the three is dog eating. It's still really common in China. Don't listen to Chinese people who say that's a racist lie or something. ηθι₯ι¦ (dog meat restaurants) are ALLLLLL over the place. The practice is still present to some degree in Korea but has more or less died out (afaik) in almost all of Japan. All in all there's still work to be done (especially in China) but I still have a soft spot for Asia.
