>>19701937I don't think it's retarded, it just highly depends on what you want. When I smoked and then vaped (used juul), I was always winded and out of breath. This made me switch to dipping. I was in the military at the time, so there was no way I would quick nicotine then. Everyone dipped anyway and the negative health effects are highly exaggerated. Your teeth will stain and breath will not be too pleasant (while doing it), but just make sure you brush regularly and you're fine. Your lungs will thank you. The switch to zyn was because I wanted to stop spitting in public. Quitting zyn was due to paying like 25-30 bucks a week for cans. If you really want to quit nicotine, patches or zyn can be used as a way to get over the habit of using a vape stick or cigarettes. Once you're comfortable with not using something like that, then work on substituting mints instead of zyn.
Other methods that can be used to help are this:
1.) Set a number of pouches to use daily and never exceed that number. Eventually you will use it only in your most stressful of times.
2.) Set times of the day when you can use a pouch: start with odd numbers then wittle it down to once every three/four/five hours.
I really think there are health benefits to using nicotine and I would still be using zyn if I weren't trying to start a family or save money. Whatever your reasoning is for quitting, you can do it. I have a highly addictive personality and I was able to quit. You can too fren.
