No, there was something to be shamed about. And I have to admit, I did clop, but only like three times. I actually never use /mlp/ when I was a brony. The only people (person) I had to depended on was my brony friend that would talk a lot about the show. I'm honestly glad I stopped before it was too late. I rather not become one of them. 2011 was the year for cartoons. Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, those were the time for me and other young kids. Sad to see them all go out after years of development and production. I never liked Steven Universe. Watched couple of episodes in first season - didn't like it. Now I see people with Steven Universe avatars, but most of them are trans and gays.
