Nikki screams as she suddenly finds herself speeding through the pitch black void, a journey set to the unwanted soundtrack of Kelly’s laughter. Then as suddenly as her journey began, it ends, and Nikki cries out in pain as she feels herself tumbling down a flight of stairs once more. She comes to a halt, lying on her back on the floor.
“P-please just s-stop. Someone… please,” Nikki begs.
Without any warning Nikki suddenly finds herself back on her bed.
Gustavo speaks. “Sorry kid, you’re on your own.”
He walks away then Kelly looks down at her. “It’s just you and me now, babe. Right? Remember? We did this two minutes and twenty four seconds ago. Let’s do it again!”
“NOOOOOOO!”
Nikki screams as she and Kelly speed away.

Ninety nine falls later, Nikki’s face is too swollen and bruised for her to open her eyes, and she’s sure every bone in her body must be broken. She shouldn’t be conscious at this point. Or even alive. Yet somehow she is. As if some unnatural force is determined to sustain her just to absorb more punishment.
The pain of her hundredth fall is almost beyond her ability to comprehend. It feels destined to last forever. Then suddenly it ends, and she’s back in the bed, back in the room.
“Sorry kid, you’re on your own.”
Gustavo leaves once more, and now Kelly is glaring down at her again.
“It’s just you and me now, babe. Right? Remember? We did just did this a hundred times. Now show me the other you. The one that almost killed us both. The one that murdered a man in cold blood. That’s not you, Nikki. But yet somehow, it is. Physically. I want to understand. I want to break it like I’ll break you. SHOW IT TO ME!”
Nikki can barely speak. “Coco, please… just give her what she wants.”
