Everyone survives the USJ attack because a stronger supporting character comes to the resue, and because another student saves Deku's ass at the last minute. These conflicts aren't resolved by the MC making a two-minute speech about the power of friendship, glowing bright green, and then unlocking his true potential with a rousing battle cry and one final ultimate attack that he's been unable to do thus far because his love interest didn't kiss him on the cheek first.
