>>13065930Mass Killings in the Bible
1. People sometimes characterize God’s actions as “vengeful,” because of such actions as the Flood (Gen. 6-8).
2. The Egyptian firstborn sons during the Passover (Exodus 11-12)
3. The worship of the Golden Calf following the Exodus. (Ex. 32-33).
4. The Canaanites under Moses and Joshua (Numbers 21:2-3)
5. The Amalekites annihilated by Saul (1 Samuel 15)
6. God demanding human murder for him. "Fathers are not to be put to death for their children or children for their fathers; each person will be put to death for his own sin. Do not deny justice to a foreigner or fatherless child, and do not take a widow's garment as security. Remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you from there. Therefore I am commanding you to do this." (Deut. 24:16-18)
God is most certainly a psychopath of biblical proportion.
Don't poison the well.
