For people looking for a job, CALL BACK.
They don't interview you and spend time thinking about it, they interview two dozen people, toss the ones who don't do well, and sit on the stack while doing their regular job. Call them back a couple days after the interview, remind them that you had one and you would like to know if there are any follow-up steps you can take. Keep doing it until either they give you a firm "No, we're not hiring you," or "Yes, we are hiring you." It's childish to think that they are ghosting you; the company doesn't care about you if you are approaching them for a job, they just need a body and will grab one once the need gets too strong.
Putting forth the minimum of effort that is a two-minute phone call once every few days makes you look really good, self-motivating and determined to get the job, instead of a lazy NEET applying so he can say on his welfare forms that he applied for a job but didn't get it. If you remind them that you exist, you will be the one they remember exist and you WILL get the job.
t. was unemployed for more than a year before I figured it out, got the first job I started calling back to.
