>just a few dumb spelling errors lolI'm trying to tell you that some scripture versions say
>eternal hellfire damnation torture lake of fire (some language like that)and other scripture versions say
>death, oblivion, eternal oblivion>>essential core statementsThis is where the waters get muddied. Now you're picking and choosing stuff Scripture says. Although that Bart dude would do a great job outlining the vast ideas Christians agree on today, he fails to underline their differences. After all, the churches of Christ and not Christ are actually all quite different.
>>22556514They mostly agree on Holy Trinity, and since 3 becomes 1 it's still monotheism. With this level of complexity, it's not hard to imagine why most Christians wouldn't understand it that well. You pray to the Trinity because it's like the true AllGod, because it's all the AllGods put together, all 3? But they all agree on an omnipotent, 100% benevolent deity whose son is Christ. In some versions, this benevolent deity will lock you into a burning cage for all eternity if you lived a dishonorable life (impression of Hell based on irl prisons). In other Christianity versions, you simply die if you lived a dishonorable life, and there is nothing but void ahead. I consider this an essential core statement, and it varies heavily across Christianity.
