the scary thing about them is how they seem to be wired different, like they're not the same species as us. theres just something about them, biologically, chemically that is different, which might be why whenever they get a disease it almost wipes out the European population (as demonstrated in history).
they are scary like how Wasps are scary, you can easily swat a dozen Wasps, but you never go near a hive.
