>>10765010The character on her left boob is 原, but I dunno about the other. Sorry. It's kinda garbled.
>Did you fall for the brown gf propaganda too? Why would you like an immigrant one? They seem like they'd be the best for starting a family with. Raised more traditionally, more family-oriented, though I'm sure there're exceptions. It's less about any color of skin than it is this ideal. Still no Muslim gf...
>Oh also, is it true that many Americans opt for mail order brides?I honsestly haven't heard or known of a single person who has. Always thought those were just a meme, but maybe that's only where I am. That's pretty crazy, though, if not too surprising for those countries with excess population.
>Quite messed up, isn't it?But what else should they expect from the entertainment industry? It's proven many times that it's among the most dehumanizing of industries. Funny, considering its whole business is humans, but you gotta treat them like cattle for it to be profitable. I think I've said, though, that I don't care for the idol ideal. They're their characters to me, more or less.
>People are afraid of change.Sure, but the change wasn't much of an improvement for their conditions. Some might even argue it was worse, if not for their work load, but for their being pushed into a world they were unfamiliar with, and thus, being saddled with debt. Course that's better than outright slavery, anyway.
>I recommend Absalom, Absalom! by William Faulkner.Thanks. I'll add it my list of things to read. But there's so much out there, isn't there? It just keeps growing. I have read his 'The Sound and the Fury', so I've a little experience with him. Can't say it was my favorite novel ever, though. For American authors, I liked Steinbeck's stuff more. Speaking of, if you haven't read it, you should check out his 'The Grapes of Wrath'.
