It doesn't matter if you're working to provide for her; she will still complain. We have this idea that, if you show a shy girl some genuine love and compassion, she will genuinely love you in return but this isn't the case; she doesn't care about you. She uses you for the stability she lacks and if she can't get it from you she'll leach off somebody else.
