its also unknown where the US got its really advanced UFOs from, obviously they didn't crash as they were in good enough condition to participate in flight tests and Bob Lazar also didn't know where they came from.
most likely they found the crafts somewhere, likely in antarctica or salvaged from the sea somewhere, maybe the Germans in the 30s/40s also found them somewhere by coincidence.
would explain why they couldn't use that technology to turn the war around (because they couldn't build more obviously).
