>>12160840>gas-tanksSeems like we're both unsuccessfully trying to reinvent the wheel while idly bullshitting around. At this rate we're going to get hired for Kel-Tec's R&D department.....eh at least we'll have a coke choo choo train.
Why hasn't air gun technology been given a second look yet? At one point it was poised for main service in infantry but it never made it. Couldn't imagine it being adapted to fit tanks but it's a thought.
I think the next logical step for infantry is any weapon that can focus light into a beam enough to penetrate a human. It's feasible like a reverse pinhole camera but we need to get the rules redone for dazzle and blinding weapons.
Imagine a tank with a big ass laser in the turret.
Dude I might just be high with too many guns around me and your tonk posting doesn't help.
>Naval artillery That would definitely be a game changer in the world of self guided munitions and satellites. I just can't get over the immense cost of hydrogen munitions and maintenance. With rail guns you just need batteries and magnets. Things that are easily replaced and can get really small.
